Open Question: AT&T Pay as you Go Questions?
I’m looking for a cheap plan for my mom. She doesn’t use a cell phone that often and I was looking at the AT&T $3 Unlimited Calling Plan. I was just wondering how it worked, any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.
Do you only pay $3 the day you use it or is their a monthly charge?
Do you get unlimited minutes for that day or just if you call another AT&T?
Do you get charge if you call other phone providers?
If you know of any better plans with no contract please let me know.
Open Question: Not enough credit for a car loan through my bank?
okay so here it goes….
My fiance and I are trying to get a decent used car. something 2005 or newer.
We do not have a enough for a down payment and we really need this car by the end of the summer as we are going to staart taking on more classes and these classes will be across town.
The car I have now is a 94′ that over heats and has broken power windows , and A/c. I live in florida it is SO hot I have thrown up from heat sickness.. (too much info I know).
So its imperative that we get a car soon.
we bring in about 1100 per month , 50 goes to cell phone , 200 goes to rent (we live with my parents) ,
we have 2 dogs 60 bucks in animal food a month. and gas 80 bucks a month.
basically we know we can only afford a 200 dollar car payment after tax titles and fees.
and our insurance for the car we want will only be 109.00 a month.
We want an 05-06′ nissan altima. because its cheap on OUR insurance.
Now here we go , because we have such a crappy car and its a money pit we have not had money to save for a down payment on a newer car. Somthing is ALWAYS breaking on it. We took out an 800 dollar loan to build credit (paid it all back already). but that still was not enough for the bank to give us a secured car loan.
We have a credit card , but its paid off. The bank told us we needed 1,000 down on the car we want. I cannot see us saving that by this summer.
Our loan adviser @ our bank told us our best bet is to finance through our dealer for 6 months and then get refinanced through our bank. and to not buy any extended warrentys or gap insurance through the dealer because then the bank wont refinance our loan.
After we get our loan refinanced they said we would buy all our warrentys and gap insurance through them at a far cheaper rate. also , he said because we have perfect credit the we shouldnt get financing through a dealer if it is over 10%. Because that would cause what is called an “upside down loan” and then the bank WILL NOT refinance us. Beause we’re paying more intrest than car payment. ( I hope im making sence)
My question is , do you think that a car lot will give me 10% intrest with a use car that costs about 9,000-10,000 dollars ? Because like I said , I cannot pay over 200.00 a month in car payments. that is after tax , title and fee.

What is the cheapest no contract cell phone you can get? that still works ok of course! Just a basic one that takes calls and it doesn’t need to do anything besides that. and one that is not going to have very many minutes used up either! Please help me decide
