Open Question: What Metro PCS Phone should I get?
I have had my cell phone about two years now. I have the Samsung Messenger 1 and I hate it! It dies very easily after being fully charged, my parents $30 phones have more power time. I don’t even use my phone much, because of this reason. Every time I charge it, it dies a couple hours later. I know most phones last the whole day! I also don’t like the qwerty and the buttons are too small. I do not use my phone for internet access or IM, I don’t even have that. I don’t care about that or an MP3 Player. I have an IPOD for that. Which phone would be the best for me, the longer the battery the better:
I now have seen three phones I may want:
LG Lyric, Samsung Messager II and Samsung Code.
LG Lyric- I like the design and never had that type of phone, cheaper and a good change. I don’t like the fact that it doesn’t have the Qwerty Keyboard.
Samsung Messenger 2: It looks better then my phone, but just an update. It has bigger keys and other new features. I don’t know about the battery life and I may want a change in the type of phone.
Samsung Code: I never had that type of phone and I like the design. It is a lot of money and a little pricey for a phone. I won’t use the internet, so maybe a waste of money? More battery though?

I don’t have a cell phone yet. But I’m going to get one on christmas since I’ve been using my moms like it’s mines. I’m just looking for a phone right now but everytime I look at the “cheap” kinds of prices it says new activation&2yr contract required.
So, Does that count for me since I’m going to be a new ATT user. But my dad is just going to add another line.

Open Question: Best/cheapest prepaid cellular phone card to be used from Malaysia?
Hello! 
I live in the USA, and I have a VERY DEAR friend of mine who lives in the town/city of Kuching in Sarawak, Malaysia. She’s going through a LOT of REALLY BAD issues and she currently has no source of income. Although she can receive text and voicemail messages, she doesn’t want to check them (since she barely has any credits left on her cell phone). I’m trying to assist her and provide information (names of people, organizations and their phone numbers to assist her with her difficulties). I’d like to help her by adding more minutes to her cell phone. Offhand, I don’t know who her cell phone service provider is, the make & model of her cell phone, nor what type of pre-paid cell phone plan she may already have (if she has one). I’m trying to find the BEST and CHEAPEST prepaid cellular international phone/calling card for her that she can use in Malaysia. Does anyone have any good suggestions? I’ve asked a fellow friend of ours, also in Malaysia, to call her & find out the info on her cell phone, cell phone service provider, pay plan, etc., and I’ll post it here (if it’s necessary). The last few days, my calls to her kept getting dropped/disconnected. My thanks and appreciation in advance!
